I work with individuals to help them develop their own personal toolbox of strategies for coping and resilience. Therapy is highly personal and my goal is to collaborate with you in a way that meets your needs for therapy. I strive to provide a supportive, non-judgmental, and warm environment for the process of therapy.
Are you feeling like an important relationship in your life needs work? Therapy can assist couples with improving communication,
developing relational balance, and
identifying strategies for living a valued life together.
DEPRESSION and ANXIETY
Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT)
provides a valuable set of tools for coping with difficult mood states. It is a collaborative approach to therapy with considerable research supporting its helpfulness as a treatment for depression and anxiety.
Learn how this practice can help to change your relationship to negative mood states and the thinking patterns that can fuel changes in mood.
THERAPY for TRAUMA
When we experience trauma, we can become "stuck" as a result of changes in our thinking and behavior. Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) is a cognitive-behavioral treatment for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) with the goal of improving PTSD symptoms and any associated symptoms, such as depression, anxiety, guilt or shame.
Stress is a part of our lives no matter what. Learning to change your relationship to stress, developing helpful (balanced) thinking and identifying behaviors that foster resilience can be a useful goal for therapy.
Sessions can focus on goal setting, time management and resolution of blockages related to creativity.
Sessions can focus on ways to promote a sense of well-being and development of self-care routines.
